Safety first

The Kindekeklein hanging cradle is produced in compliance with the Dutch Consumer Safety Institute and the European NEN-EN 1130 safety norms.         

The cradle is finished neatly and doesn’t have any sharp edges or corners. The 8 cm thick custom tailored mattresses are a perfect fit. The perforated bottom board prevents sagging.

The spring was designed specifically for the hanging cradle and is delivered with a safety line.

The instruction manuals are self-explanatory and clearly demonstrate which points you should pay attention to when assembling the cradle.

The fabrics (linen and cotton) breathe and ventilate easily and are hypoallergenic (small to no chance of allergic reactions). In addition, we use only 100% organic cotton: no pesticides were used in the production. The production of linen textile requires far less chemicals and manure than regular (non-organic) cotton.

The sturdy ash wood poles in the frame are unvarnished and the jute ropes are strong enough to hold a cow.

Kindekeklein hanging cradles

For us, the Kindekeklein hanging cradle really was the perfect solution. Our little girl had trouble falling asleep at first. When she was six weeks old I ordered the cradle and she's slept superbly inside her little sleeping bag ever since. Sometimes, I would come into her room and see the cradle bobbing up and down. I'd know she'd just rocked herself back to sleep. This experience inspired me to order a cradle for the new baby group at our day-care crèche.

The cradle is beautiful and practical and a lovely safe little nest, especially for our youngest babies!
